This study is under the scientific and legal responsibility of INED. Several partner institutions have helped to finance this study. They are the Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR), the Institut national de la jeunesse et de l’éducation populaire (INJEP), Santé publique France, the Caisse nationale des allocations familiales (CNAF) and the Direction générale de la cohésion sociale (DGCS). The phone survey was conducted by Ipsos.

The ENVIE study, along with eight other French or European research or official statistics surveys, is an integral part of LifeObs – French Life History Observatory, a major research-funding instrument (Equipex+) financed by PIA3 (‘Plan d’investissement d’avenir’). As a result, this study has received government funding managed by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR), under the France 2030 programme, grant agreement ANR-21-ESRE-0037.
